The following are additional projects I have had a hand in creating and leading.
Slow Fashion Patches
One of the many projects I created during my time as a Community Programs Intern at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. During "Radical Craft Night," I taught guests about the perils of the fast-fashion industry and the different ways in which we can all opt out of this exploitative and wasteful practice. I cut small patches out of old clothing and taught guests to embroider on them to both personalize their clothing and extend the lives of the things they own. My zine, The Art of Mending, was born out of this project.
